Abstract:
This disclosure proposes a way to make shopping an enjoyable and interesting activity according to an individual's preference.
A route generator will help to generate a route to follower based on customer's(the route follower) selected parameters
that are gathered from shared route information.

 

Background:
In-store shopping or visiting to different points can be therapeutic but can also be a time consuming task and not always an enjoyable activity.
 

 

Description:
The traveled route could be a route shared by another person who has left or is still performing "live" shopping in-store or a route that the individual experienced previously.
-anyone can share the route that is traveled previously. They can choose to make the route private or global. Private = certain people, Global=anyone
- information include route, items purchased, time spent on each category, time spent at a location with the selection when the item is picked, # of offers/saving picked up in that route.
- route follower can set iternaries/shopping list items (must have,good to have,any,all,nil)
- route follower can select the route to model after, allow to match the shopping list items to the selected route

  • best route that matches your shopping list/itinerary
  • list the min and max time spent on routes that match your shopping list/itinerary
  • list the route by range of saving( min and max savings) that match your shopping list /itinerary
  • have the color code to distinguish time spend on each section of the route.

This could be used for instance:
1. want to travel the same route taken previously
2. users are divided by different teams but want to insist on going through the same route(nowadays stores have people capacity limit).
3. user want to travel the same route, the route they choose to follower because the route get the most savings, less time in-store, buy same brand of items.
4.user who want to kill time or model after what others do
5.for retailer who want to promote items along trips, they could create a promotion route for people to follow

 

Claims:

The distinction of our disclosure is be able to model a shopping route after the route of other person(s) for a particular category. It is the ability to model after other person’s particular category that is distinct.
