Abstract:
This Disclosure proposes an App that allows a customer to Check Out while they are eating in a Store Food Court or waiting on their car to be repaired at the Store.
Background:
In many Big Box Stores and Warehouse Clubs there are food courts that you can eat food before or after check out.
But you still need to spend time lining up for check out. In this proposal, there is an app service provided that customers can complete the check out process simultaneously while they eat food or get their car repaired in the store.
Description:
Step
- Each shopping cart has unique QR code or RFID number.
- When customers finish shopping in the store and put all goods in the shopping cart, they open the app to scan the QR code..etc. In the app.
- They click the check-out service in the app linked to the shopping cart at specific shopping cart location.
- After that, customers can eat food or have car maintenance in the store.
- Cashiers will find the shopping cart and complete the checkout process in the store.
- App will send the checkout list notice to customers for confirmation.
- Once customers are finished their meal or car maintenance, they can go to checkout counter or assigned location to pick up their goods.
- Or cashiers can deliver the shopping cart to food court or car service center (feature in the app) if customers wanted.
- With this app/service, customers can reduce line-up time when they eat food or do other services in the store.
- Stores can ask for additional fees for this service and decrease the line-up at the checkout counters.
