Abstract:
Today people might be doing more online shopping than real-time instore shopping.
And those doing the real-time instore buys might not know what is trending for online shopping. This disclosure proposes using information from either way of shopping to encourage shopping and buying.
Background:
This Proposal uses information from either way of shopping to encourage shopping and buying.
Example: for online shopper, we could stream the scenario of the real time instore shopping. Online shoppers could first ‘shop’ to see the real time instore shopping crowd where most people are crowding, and grabbing what items.
Real-time shopper can first ‘shop’ to see what are online shopper’s hot buys. Retailers can also present online logins shopping information using graphs, charts etc. In this way, a method to encourage buying.
I will be more interested in real world shopping if I see this while I am online doing shopping. And perhaps it will influence me to continue to shop and encourage me to buy. That is, on-the-go shopping will get the real time scenario broadcast for the items of which they are browsing.
Also with this idea, when shopper is doing online shopping, shopper will also be more engaged by what is happening in the real brick and mortar space, not alone any more( assuming you want to get out be in touch to the real world but not able to do so for whatever reason).

People will be more interested in real world shopping if they see the streaming of shopping scene in the real brick and mortar space while they are online doing shopping. And perhaps this will influence them to continue to shop and encourage them to buy. That is, on-the-go shopping will get the real time scenario broadcast of the items which they are browsing. You see other people also doing shopping as you do, it is useful watching what others are doing when you need “opinion/advice/suggestion/promotion” on a product you browsing for.
Also with this idea, when shopper is doing online shopping, shopper will also be more engaged to what is going on in the real brick and mortar space, not alone any more( assuming you want to get out be in touch to real world but are not able to do so for whatever reason)

Claims:
Streaming of the scenario of the real time instore shopping. Online shopper could first ‘shop’ to see the real time instore shopping crowd where most people are crowding , and grabbing what items.
Real time shopper can first ‘shop’ to see what are online shopper’s hot buys. Retailers can also present online logins shopping information using graphs, charts etc.
In this invention, the shopper selected section of where he/she is in, then we have this idea to showcase to shopper the “live” of the platform where the shopper is NOT. So that the shopper gets the feel of the “real” happening of the buying of the same items where the shopper is not.
If shopper is online, shopper can opt to show the “live” of brick and mortar or both(online statistics/graphs + “live” of brick and mortar)
With this idea, we are focusing on method to encourage buying not method to sell.
This idea tags on shopper flow of interest and with this proposed idea of having the “live” to show them the “happening” of goods/items that they want to buy, and using this status to encourage buying.
Enabling Technology:
- On line platform ( mobile apps or online webpage etc) to faciltitate on-line shopping and to provide information to support shopping of products and services.
- Hardware equipment that could facilitate the streaming(camera, streaming and broadcasting technology)
- Program that could distinguish the item(s) that user is browsing, then present them with the streaming of brick and mortar retail space or online respectively.
