Abstract:
This disclosure proposes a  mobile device with a camera mounted or embedded within the device, that can take 3D images and is AI learning.

Background:
Users of Personal Shopping Services complain about the quality, type, quantity, etc. of the produce picked out for them by the Personal Shopper.   While produce is named, this can also apply to other areas of the store such as meats, dairy and bakery items.

Description:
A Produce Recognition camera mounted onto a mobile device, or embedded within a mobile device, that allows the Personal Shopper to send 3D images of the produce they’ve selected to the Consumer at home to confirm the quality, type and quantity, etc.   This quality check can help reduce the number and severity of complaints from Consumers about the Shopper’s choices since unlike a box of cereal, not all tomatoes are exactly the same.  The AI camera can learn quality ratings from Consumers’ and Shoppers’ feedback to constantly improve the service provided to the Consumer.

This camera solution is not limited to produce and could be used in multiple ways within the grocery store to confirm product quality and type, for example, meats, dairy and bakery selections too.
