Abstract:
What is proposed is a system, method, and application to request cleaning based on Consumer Interactions.  Some Examples:

1) Self Check Out Touch Screens: Cleaning App would monitor the number of transactions at the SCO and alert the Sales Associate to clean the display and confirm once complete.

2) Pin-pads: Cleaning App would monitor the transactions tied to the Pin-pad usage (credit, debit, gift card, frequent shopper card) and alert the Sales Associate to clean the Pin-pad and confirm once complete.

3) POS System: Would send data to a micro-service (Elera does this) and any micro-service-based POS app could be used here.  The Cleaning App would then get the data from the Micro-Service in question.

Background:
To minimize exposure to COVID19 with Consumers touching the Pin-pad through
Credit Card usage and / or input of Phone Number for VIP / Bonus type Status.

What We Know: some comprehensive financial websites
are suggesting  that more consumers are using Credit Cards at Check Out more often. As of April 2020, 46 percent of in-person grocery shoppers paid with a credit card, 39 percent with a debit card and 15 percent with cash. Compared to data from a December 2019 Bankrate.com study where 50 percent of grocery shoppers paid with a debit card, 27 percent with a credit card and 22 percent with cash, grocery store credit card usage is up a whopping 70 percent.

 Description:
Transactions are completed at POS and SCO
POS reports transactions to Micro Service and this would include detail about the
transaction:
   - Was a Credit Card/Debit Card user
   - Was a loyalty number entered at the Pin-pad
   - Did the dash drawer pop
   - Was a receipt printed for the consumer
The service determines what devices were touched and by
whom:
    - Store associate touch point
    - Customer touch point
Touches and Touchers are tracked.
Thresholds are set:
    - Threshold set by government
     - By store
     - Requested by shopper
Thresholds are predicted using AI and training in “healthy” stores and
“outbreak” stores
The system notifies store personnel to wipe down the device:

     - Indicates what to wipe
     - Where to wipe
     - What product to use
     - Duration of cleaning
Cleaning is completed.
