Abstract:
This disclosure proposes a centralized a kind of service that all social networks should consult and using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to vanish the people registered there in all the media documents that each social network identifies through the AI.
Background:
The problem that this idea wants to solve is when a person doesn’t like to be exposed to a social network, mainly through the publication of pictures or videos. The person who takes pictures or videos could issue the media file in any social network and another person (people) appears them and it’s tagged her/him and this person that doesn’t want to be in a social network.
The way to block the tagging feature is opening an account in the social network where the person detects that publication, she/he needs to set up her/his profile to avoid this feature. This configuration needs to be done in each of the social networks that the person detects an image.
Another drawback, the person doesn’t want to be published in a social network it just avoids being tagged but it couldn’t vanish her/his face of the published media.
Nowadays, the Social networks are a reality that could not be ignored, but it could be people that don’t want to be published in these social networks however someone takes a picture or records a video and this document is issued in a social network, another familiar member could tag the person that appears in this media file and at this way many other people identify her/him and creates a conversation or viralizing the photo or video. But the main topic here is the person doesn’t want to be on a social network, however if the previous scenario happens this person will be on this media although her/him negatives to be there.
Currently this kind of people don’t have a way to avoid it, at least she/he creates a profile in the social network where the document was issued and setting up the parameters this social network allows blocking the viralization of the person through the media files.
Description:
We could name the person who doesn’t want to be published in a social network as non-public person.
The vanish feature is the ability to blur the face of the people that don’t like to appear in the social networks and the main subject of this article.
If a non-public person wants to activate the vanish feature on all (or part) of the current and future social networks, this non-public person chooses a social network to start the process of vanish feature. Each social network will have a section where any person could register her/him self.
The following table indicates the personal data that this service needs to collect in order to activate the vanish feature:
Required information |
Name of the non-public person |
Age |
Brief description to avoid publishing your face |
Take a picture |
From the side (both sides) |
Frontal view |
List of Social Networks to block (it should be a check box to block all one in just one click). |
These photos will be used by the AI to look for the face of each photo and video uploaded in the Social Network and blurring the face of the person.
The following flow chart depicts the registration process to include a non-public person in the service of vanish feature:
Claims:
- Artificial Intelligence applied to look for non-public person in a photo and video.
- The protocol to vanish people that don’t like to be included in Social Networks.
Enabling Technology:
- Micro services to request the Artificial Intelligence.
- Vanish feature service centralized.
- Coordinating all the Social Networks.
