Abstract:
T
his Disclosure proposes a magnetic device to flip the bar code to a desired direction during checkout to reduce the time of the scanning process.

Background:
The user normally spends time trying to find the bar code location at the checkout counter for scanning the bar code. If there is a method to assist the user in finding the bar code location on the product, then the checkout time per the customer can be reduced.

Description:
A magnetic token is attached to the goods, it is on the same surface as the bar code on the goods.

On the checkout counter, there is a magnetic system which generates the magnetic force to flip the magnetic token with the barcode attached.  The surface which has the token, and the bar code can be automatically flipped to the top side, then the scanner can scan the bar code.

The magnetic token can be recycled similar to the way we recycle  glass bottles today.
