Abstract:
This disclosure proposes a flexible mounting arm on the base of a Self Checkout System. With the new design, a Self Check Out System can support left/right/top mount with single arm on the base.

Background:
In a proposed Self Checkout system, it can only support a display left mount. In some checkout counters, there may be a space limitation that the customers need to change the AIO(All in One) mount position to fit their checkout counters. Therefore, a fixed arm without adjustable arm direction may be a concern to our potential customers.
Our idea is to support 180-degree arm on the base. With the new design, the Self Checkout System can support left/right/top mount with single arm on the base.

Description:
Currently the new proposed Self Checkout System only supports left side mount. Our customers may have concerns due to their checkout counter space & placement.
Add a rotatable hinge at the center of the base and the arm can be swiveled based on the central axis.
The hinge at center axis can be any kind of the mechanism design e.g. two layers of the circle swivel plates or 180 degree loop hinge.
With this kind of design, customers can adjust the mounting position to fit their checkout counters or set the new Self Checkout System anywhere of their stores.
