Abstract:
This Disclosure proposes a solution to the issue of running out of space in a shopping cart. This disclosure proposes a method to adjust the cart to a larger basket size as needed to meet the shopper's needs.
Background:
When a store cashier encounters a robber, they will be forced to open the cash drawer. There is nothing we can do at this moment to limit the loss to the store and it will cause a great loss. They cannot refuse to open the cash drawer either. The only thing they can do is still to open it but the the money will be persevered by the cash drawer itself.
Description:
Our idea is to offer a cash drawer that could be able to preserve the money by a predefined amount set by the store owner. As you receive the paid money from the customers, you will do whatever you did as usual.
The cash drawer will have an additional space could roll the banknote if it's over the predefined numbers. Such as if we set the maximum number of the $100 US dollars banknotes to two. Once it detects over two banknotes, it will automatically roll the upper or bottom one to the well protected space as mentioned above and ensure there are only two $100 banknotes (maximum) showing in the cash drawer.
The 'protected' space will be only accessible by the store owner by a special key and the robber or even the cashier will not be able to open it. (one of the exercise). Please refer to the attached picture.
