Abstract:
The proposed solution provides a replacement for the current status light on a SCO(Self Check Out System).
Background:
In the current SCO structure, there are several kind of cameras assembled on the display or on the TAL(Transaction Awareness Light). And there are an indicator lights on the TAL. Our idea is to have the indicator feature on the cameras to replace the TAL indicator lights.
Description:
There are different cameras assembled on SCO. Our idea is to have translucent enclosure of the camera. A LED inside the camera housing. This camera can be the indicator of the SCO.
For example, this indicator would replace the current status light.
Red => SCO system abnormal or occupied
Green => normal or available
The indicator gives a concise status of the SCO.
